Kuzuzangpo and Welcome to my page…
This is a page where I tell you some things about my self. Well, I’m from Bhutan, a small himalayan Kingdom, in-between Tibet to the North and India to the south.
So who am I? I am a simple Buddhist from this wonderful kingdom, Bhutan where Gross National Happiness is the very essence of our simple and human existence. Religion plays a major part in our daily life. While, it is extremely difficult for me to pray / sit still or even meditate, I enjoy trekking to monasteries and temples where the very physical accomplishment of my trips reminds me of life’s impermanence, which further enhances my desire to be a better human being.
Through out my education and my working career, two things that continue to draw my attention. This is designing websites and taking up photography. The first website that I designed was for my mom’s travel agency – Bhutan Lhayul Tours & Travels. So if you ever want to visit Bhutan and come through her, you may possibly meet me, as I sometime accompany her when she meets her guest during one of the Bhutanese dinner in which she interacts with her guest ( and trust me, she really looks after them really well that they come back again)
I love to take photographs! This is my hobby that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Well.. in part, it also keeps me from being a ‘potato couch’. I love movies and without something to do, I can sit for hours and just watch serials such as ‘24’, ‘house’, ‘friends’.. and so on…
I did start photography early on but it wasn’t till July 2008, that I finally bought a Canon 50d SLR in Melbourne, Australia. And so here I am taking photography as a serious hobby.
Here is some of my favorite quote:
If a picture's worth a thousand words,
how many dollars is that?
By Andrew Hudson
Women are like telephones, they like to be held, talked to, but the moment you press the wrong button you’re disconnected.
A man told his wife that men are like wine, the older you get the better they are. The next day, the wife locked up the man in the cellar.
Education
I finished my bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and my Masters degree in Environmental Engineering the from the University of Melbourne. I was one of the lucky few to be selected for the prestigious Asian Development Bank (ADB) Scholarship at the University of Melbourne from which I graduated in December 2009 with First Class Honors.
