All international visitors to Bhutan (with the exception of visitors from India, Bangladesh and Maldives) are required to obtain visa approval prior to arrival in the country. Visas are processed through an online system by Bhutan Lhayul Tours & Travels.

You will be required to send a scanned copy of your passport (which should have minimum six-months validity) to the us who will then process the visa. Visa can only be processed with Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) once the full payment of the tour (including visa fee of USD 40) has been wire transferred and received in the TCB account.

Once visa clearance is obtained, the actual visa will be issued upon arrival at the point of entry into Bhutan.

Indian, Bangladeshi and Maldivian nationals can obtain visa at the port of entry upon producing a valid passport with a minimum of six-months validity. Indian national may also use their Voter Identity Card (VIC).
